Cancellations Within 90 Days of Departure
If you cancel less than 90 days before your scheduled departure, your trip is non-refundable.
However, if we are able to successfully rebook your canceled seats, 100% of the trip price will be refunded.
Deposits & Final Payment
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your trip.
The remaining 50% balance is due 90 days before your scheduled departure date.
Cancellations 90 Days or More Before Departure
If you cancel 90 days or more before your scheduled departure:

If we are unable to rebook your canceled seats, 50% of the total trip price will be refunded.

If we successfully rebook your canceled seats, 100% of the trip price will be refunded.
Rebooking Cancelled Seats
While we will make reasonable efforts to fill canceled seats, Salt to Summit Outfitters cannot guarantee that they will be rebooked.
A seat is considered rebooked once a replacement reservation has been confirmed and the required payment has been received.
Cancellations by Salt to Summit Outfitters
If Salt to Summit Outfitters must cancel your trip in its entirety due to weather, vessel issues, crew issues, or other circumstances that prevent us from operating the trip, you will receive a 100% refund of all payments made to Salt to Summit Outfitters for the trip.
Salt to Summit Outfitters is not responsible for additional expenses incurred as a result of a canceled trip, including airfare, lodging, transportation, or other travel-related costs.
Weather & Trip Changes
Alaska weather and marine conditions can require changes to routes, schedules, fishing locations, hunting transportation, or planned activities. These changes do not constitute a trip cancellation.
The captain retains final authority over vessel operations and all decisions related to the safety of guests, crew, and vessel.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that provides appropriate coverage for trip cancellation, travel delays, missed connections, medical emergencies, and other unexpected circumstances.
