Weather & Trip Changes

Weather, marine conditions, regulations, mechanical issues, and other circumstances may require changes to routes, schedules, fishing locations, hunting transportation, or planned activities. The captain retains final authority regarding vessel operation and safety.

Fishing opportunities, wildlife encounters, and successful harvests are never guaranteed.

Self-Guided Hunts

Salt to Summit's black bear and Sitka blacktail transport hunts are self-guided. Salt to Summit provides transportation and the services specified in the trip package but does not guide guests while hunting. Hunters are responsible for conducting their own hunts and making their own hunting and harvest decisions.

Assumption of Risk

Boating, fishing, hunting, wildlife encounters, remote travel, and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Guests participate voluntarily and may be required to sign additional liability waivers or acknowledgments before departure.

To the extent permitted by law, Salt to Summit Outfitters is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Guest Responsibility

Guests must follow safety instructions provided by the captain and crew and arrive with the required licenses, documentation, clothing, and personal equipment. Salt to Summit reserves the right to restrict participation when reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or the protection of guests, crew, or property.
